Preparations begin at our house weeks before the actual holiday! Naturally, we have lots of cookies to make, and this year the kids took on decorating the gingerbread house (well, actually it was a sleigh and train) all by themselves! It is nice when they are still young enough to love Christmas, but old enough to do a lot of the activities themselves!! |

Christmas eve was on the horizon and my parents and brother arrived on the scene to help bring in the holiday. We always laugh and carry on a lot over here, and this year was no different! |
