Every year, on about February 13th, we start a frenzy of valentine activity. They, inevitably, never get mailed. So, this year I decided to start early. Not to worry, they STILL probably won’t get mailed...but, they will be finished before February 13th— maybe. |

Before we started, we read a book called The Story of Valentine’s Day. It talked about the history of Valentine’s Day, and how it came to be today. But, what we found most interesting, is in spite of its Italian roots, it is most celebrated in the US and the UK. AND, it just so happens I have some fabulous friends who live in the UK, so we are going to send them Valentines and see if they can send us back some from the UK! So, I will update when they arrive! Of course they all had fun making the valentines—Even the guinea pig! |
