In the category of things you probably don’t need to spend money on in Savannah, but we enjoyed just the same...The Railway Museum. While our tour guide was wonderful, and we were the only people there, the exhibits were a little ‘run down’...but, in the end we got a private tour of two train cars and the kids favorite part was being able to operate a real hand car themselves! They wanted 10$ a ticket, until I scoffed, then they let the kids each in for four—but I still had to pay ten—wasn’t worth 10, but we enjoyed it just the same! |

The fancy Pullman car would have had very comfortable seats and lovely dishware like this. It was made comfy for executive types, and had more toilets than you can ever imagine. You’d have one in your bedroom, and a full bath attached between the rooms. The other car was much more stripped down and more for the commoners. |
