Infinitely more popular with the kids, the National Firearms Museum is one of those local places you drive by 1000000 times before actually stopping at.  Always on the lookout for new places we haven’t been...we stopped there on our way home from the Health and Medicine Museum.  There were many famous guns to see, including the Lone Ranger guns, many guns from films, John Wayne’s guns, and even Luke Skywalkers’ light saber.  The history of all the guns was very rich, and the craftsmanship was incredible to see up close.

Other oddly interesting things in this museum included Wanted posters, gunfight statistics, and strange posters like above.  Overall, free is free, and it was an interesting place...and the kids will say MUCH better than the H&M museum!! I disagree.
