There is nothing better than taking a bunch of inland bound kids, and one chalky white husband to the beach for the day. Living in MN our friends were making a special trek to the ocean. Although we live closer, the magic that is the ocean still does draw us to it. |

While the closeness of the sand appealed to the younger groups, the lure of the waves was still too much for each of them. Eventually, they all made their way out there. |

In spite of the roughness caused by hurricane Hannah, they cautiously found themselves making their way out to where the ocean met the land. The olders ventured out and frolicked in the crash, while the youngers stayed in the second breaks. |

Once heat and waterlogged some headed inland to try and jump the waves. Malena turned into a sandy zombie creature while Liza made a gentle dolphin in the sand. Cade rarely broke out of the rough and tumble waves...of course! All in all it was a perfect day. There is nothing like the day after a hurricane to brighten everybody’s spirits! |
