This week we were blessed (see Kathy, you got thru) to have our BFF’s from OKC come for a visit. It was an awesome visit. The kids (who hadn’t seen each other in two years) fell right in with one another like no time had past. Soon, we were back to a few years ago when kids were running around the house and Kathy was sitting at the counter chatting. |

As you can see from this reenactment, within the first 30 minutes of our visit Adam (22 mos) and Kathy (too old to mention) were in the pond. |
|
Spencer and Bruce jammed out in the piano room every day...while Kathy and I chatted at the counter. |
|
Every day Bella talked on the phone to Audrey, her BFF, for hours on end, because Audrey is at her grandma’s house in FL. They did all the things they would have done together...remotely. Talked and talked, played on the computer, talked some more, and then, talked again. Meanwhile, Kathy and I were chatting at the counter. |

Most every day Grace and Malena jumped on the trampoline, played in the toy room, played on Club Penguin and just had fun together. Younger sister Kali tagged along, but those two didn’t seem to mind. On days when Grace was visiting with a family friend, Kali and Malena played together. But, most days Cade played with Kali (in fact, when I was taking these photos they were playing and I forgot to get them together). All the while, Kathy and I were talking at the kitchen counter. |

The trampoline was busy every day when the rain wasn’t pouring down...which was MOST every day. But, when the sun broke through the kids had a good time playing outside. Now, about this boy below...Adam...that boy is trouble. It is a good thing he is so cute...because he about wore us out!! LOL~! He even interrupted some of our counter conversation running amuck in the house. |

We tried over two separate days to go into DC and do the Night at the Museum scavenger hunt, but the torrential rains kept us home both days. The kids never seemed to mind, they just hung out and played. The boys circled the house between the computer and the PS3, and the girls played between the toy room and the computer. Kathy and I chatted at the counter...and occasionally moved to the couch when we thought Adam may take a nap. But, overall the week was great with all the BFF’s!! Miss you guys!!! |
