Baltimore!

When I discovered of all the places Maggie has been in this world she had never been to Baltimore—well, we HAD to go!  So, we set out on another adventure!

As part of our adventure, we took the water taxi from place to place.  It was AWESOME!  It was a great way to see Baltimore from land and sea.  Well worth the $$.  An added bonus was that there was a rowing competition, and the boats were amazing to see.  Each boat had a drummer that kept count.  Very cool—(I am sure that person has a title, but I don’t know what it is).  The icing on the cake?  Caden got to blow the horn when we arrived into port.  We saw the pirate ship, and are planning an excursion in the Spring.

Our first stop was Fells Point.  We had lunch at one of my favorite places, Coopers Tavern.  Then we hit all the local art shops, and enjoyed street art!

Back on the water taxi, we headed to the Inner Harbor for tea time at the awesome Barnes and Noble there.  We looked in all the shops and explored downtown until dark, when we headed back to VA.  Baltimore is one of my favorite cities.  It is small enough to easily get around, full of art, and tons of little interesting shops.  We LOVE it!
