Oval: This year we went back to Myrtle Beach Travel park. The kids love it there. It is very reasonable and sits right on the ocean. Because it is a campground the kids can run free...which makes it nice for us too! We rent one of the trailers for the week. We spent the week at the pool, in the ocean and at our other favorite hangout—Broadway on the Beach. This year we also went to the Ripley’s Museum, and Cade’s favorite—mini golf!

This was the year of the Beach Boys.  Spencer and Cade both LOVED being out on the water for hours a day!  There were all kinds of cool things to discover along the way!

Broadway At The BeachBelieve it or Not!

Broadway offers lots of shopping and fun family activities.  Last year we did a lot of the activities here, so this year we kept it to just shopping.  The shops are fun, and the restaurants are too!  Audrey and Cade took a minute to pose with their favorite chairs in Margaritaville.

Overall, good fun was had by all.  I even accomplished something I had never done before—I read two entire books!  Both were great, and one I chose only because I liked the title and the cover—which, just goes to show you, you CAN judge a book by its cover!!

Water For Elephants Sara Gruen This was a really great book of the circus train during the depression told from an old man in a nursing home.  I read this in two days.

Skin Tight Carl Hiaasen  Another crazy adventure like only Carl Hiaasen can write!
