Today Audrey and I  went to the Kennedy Center to see Phantom of the Opera with the Herths.  It was awesome!  The girls had a great time getting dressed up, going downtown, eating lunch at the Kennedy Center, and seeing an amazing, classic opera.  We knew nothing about the story, but the other girls had seen it several times.  It was so fun!

After lunch we had just enough time to go for a walk outside.  In the background you can see the Washington Monument.  To the left, W?  Is that you?  Helicopters buzz by as we look at the 9/11 sculpture on the horizon.  Below, we wrap up our visit reading quotes from JFK, carved into the walls of the Kennedy Center.
