Text Box: We found this pretty girl in our garden~! Most people don’t like snakes, but we LOVE them! This is a black rat snake. We hope she stays in the safety of our yard this year!
Text Box: This is a baby ringneck I found in the garden!
Text Box: While I have my concerns...I have found TWO cardinal nests in my yard. Above, is in the weeping cherries right outside my front door! Cute! The second is in the forsythia under the basketball court. The mom (above) hatched these babies this morning! They look like they love eachother! Now, we hope the critters below, don’t lead to their demise. Not to Oval: Any minute now, she will die, and I will eat this thumb!
Text Box: This very ferocious garter snake lives in our playground in the backyard. I see him when I mow. Today, he was stuck on the slide, so I put him in a bucket until I finished mowing...Of course, Audrey had to hold him—and you see what happened? Don’t worry, sorry snake, she barely felt a thing!
Text Box: Did you know that Garter snakes are one of the few snakes to bear live young? Most snakes lay eggs! They mostly eat earthworms, that are free of dirt, and occasionally small fish—uh-oh! For more: Click Here!
