Text Box: The Bug BoxText Box: Home Oval: Today we went to Fredericksburg to the Bug Box Insect Zoo with some home school friends. They had bugs from all over the world!! The kids had a great time! They even had snakes, red ear sliders and fire toads! Oval: The kids got to study bugs up close and personal. They also had lots of bug boards so you could identify them! Oval: Cade tickles a tarantula!! Oval: We found the cicada killer to be especially vicious looking! Oval: Giant African Millipedes! Read all about them! Strange. Intriguing! Oval: Ball python was a fascination to Audrey and Cade. He was very active for some reason… They also had a kids room with puzzles, and bugs you could examine close up...Ethan and I discovered a very smelly scorpion! Ethan rounded out the bug experience by eating a chocolate covered cricket. You can tell the others were a little disgusted!! Oval: Another fun day!
