Text Box: Prime and Composite Numbers

Text Box: Audrey is learning about prime numbers, and thinks she found a pattern in them. We are not sure if it holds up, so we are checking it now (it didn’t). She noticed in the numbers between 5-23 there was a 1/3 pattern. While there is a math proof that shows there is some type of spiral pattern in all prime numbers—this was just a little advanced for us. But, we did find some good sites to help explain the primes and the composites and how to tell the difference!
