Every year we take the kids to Hartman’s Orchard for apple picking. Usually, we forget about it until the end of September and the pickin’s are slim. This year, still in a depression about leaving the rainforest, we headed out the Sunday after we got back. We needed to see some blue sky and trees! And, even though they picked apples that were a little less than ripe, they had a great time climbing the trees, and especially getting a carmel apple at the end. It is a nice fall activity and one we look forward to each year! |
